To whom this may concern:
I owe all my life to this great organization and the people involved! Being specific, they took me when I had nothing and no one. The stood me up from day one and instilled in me the integrity I had lost. After spending eighteen months with this house, I gained a sense of self worth. In the past, my addiction ran my life and I did whatever was necessary to feed it. I stole money, jewelry, stereos, televisions... anything I could get my hands on that made me a little money; I stole. Through this house and their programs, I was able to leave my life of crime and addiction. They helped me help myself. Now I am a God frearing man. God allowed those tribulations to enter into my life and I was forced to either die or live to the best of my abilities and through The Talbot Home, I LIVED! If not for this place and God, I would have died a long time ago! I owe a lot to The Talbot Home. I would recommend this place to anyone who is fed up with living a life of crime and addiction. This home taught me how to change for the better, to gain humility, to be gratful, honest, and open-minded. This house is built on all of those principles and many more. This is not just a house; it is a force that helps heal. This institution helped me to look at things in a new light and to them am I grateful. Thanks Talbot Home and special thanks to Mr Rochester Brownlee, who was there every step of the way.
Sincerely,
G.A.

To whom this may concern:
I am a truly grateful recovering addict today! The reason I say this is that I know that I have come so fare from where I once was. In my past life, I let my addiction dictate my actions. I stole cars, broke into homes, sold drugs, lied, and hurt the people closest to me. My past life as one of many tribulations but today I know that through the workings of God, The Matt Talbot Home was place into my life to transform me from a life of criminal activities to a life where i have become a fully functioning citizen.
Being a part of a powerful program, such as this has taught me many valuable life lessons. I was able to mend the relationships my addicted self had ruined, I was truly made new. In this house, I was reborn. Now I am the assistant manager of The Matt Talbot Home. I give my FULL support to the programs and workings of this great house for I know that it is through God all things are made possible.
